MOTMOT testing, explained
An MOT is an annual roadworthiness test covering brakes, tyres, steering and suspension, lights and signalling, exhaust and emissions, structure, visibility and the driver’s view. It is not a service and does not assess mechanical condition or wear beyond the test standard, which is why many owners combine the two.

Your first MOT is due three years after first registration, then annually. Send us your registration and we will confirm the date and find you a slot.
A failure means the vehicle does not meet the required standard and cannot be used on the road until it is put right. An advisory is an item that is acceptable now but will need attention. We explain both, and quote anything you would like us to do.
Often, depending on the work and the parts needed. With our own parts department and workshop on site, we can usually complete the repair and arrange the retest while the car is with us.
Yes. An MOT can be booked on its own. Many owners choose to combine the two for convenience.
