About JLC
A family business, part of the Jaguar Land Rover network
JLC is a family-run Jaguar Land Rover Authorised Service Centre, and has been part of the JLR network since 2003. Privately owned by Jim Lewis, who has spent more than 50 years looking after Jaguars and Land Rovers, and the people who drive them.
How we got here
2003
In 2003, Jaguar Land Rover appointed JLC as its first stand-alone Approved Service Centre.
2006
Jim’s son James joined in 2006, straight from school and into the Jaguar Land Rover apprentice programme. Today James runs the business alongside his father and the rest of the family, with the same care for customers that JLC was built on.
Today
Being family run is what sets JLC apart within the Jaguar Land Rover network. The people who own the business are the people you will meet, and looking after you well is a matter of personal pride.
Sevenoaks
In 2026, after more than 30 years in London, JLC moved to Sevenoaks and a workshop built around what today’s Jaguars and Land Rovers need. Same company, same family, same team. We now look after customers across Kent, London and the South East, and many have made the journey with us.

Our workshop at 6 Connections Business Park was designed around vehicle health checks, servicing, diagnostics and complex repairs, with Jaguar Land Rover diagnostic equipment and tools throughout. It is equipped for petrol, diesel, hybrid and fully electric vehicles, including high-voltage work. Alongside it are a customer lounge, our parts department, and the collection, delivery and loan car services that make life easy whether you are coming from Sevenoaks, Kent or London.

Our technicians, including Master Technicians, are trained by Jaguar Land Rover and return to the factory regularly to keep up with every new model. Our service team and parts department are factory trained too, so one conversation covers everything your car needs. As an Official Jaguar Land Rover Authorised Service Centre we are part of the JLR network, with the same systems, technical information and genuine parts as any JLR retailer.
Royal Warrant
By appointment to His Majesty The King.
JLC is proud to hold a Royal Warrant, by appointment to His Majesty The King, for the service and repair of motor vehicles. It was granted to JLC in its own right, in recognition of the care we take of the vehicles entrusted to us.
