How we work
Official JLR diagnostics
As part of the Jaguar Land Rover network, we diagnose your car with JLR’s diagnostic systems, technical information and live data, and with direct access to JLR technical support. Every investigation follows the Jaguar Land Rover procedure for your exact car.
Beyond the fault code
Reading a fault code is easy. Understanding it takes training, experience and the right information. Our technicians follow Jaguar Land Rover’s own diagnostic procedures, so you only pay for the parts your car actually needs.

Once we have found the cause, we explain what it is, what it will take to put right and exactly what it will cost, so you can decide before any further work goes ahead.
Repaired in-house
Mechanical, electrical, software and high-voltage repairs are all done in our own Sevenoaks workshop by Jaguar Land Rover-trained and Master Technicians, with genuine parts.

Rough running, misfires, loss of power, poor economy, starting problems and limp-home modes. We test the systems the engine depends on, sensors, fuelling, ignition, air and boost, and identify the cause before any part is replaced.

Modules, wiring, earths, batteries and charging, comfort and convenience systems, lighting, and the parasitic drains that flatten a battery overnight. Electrical work on a modern Jaguar or Land Rover needs JLR’s wiring data, which comes with being part of the Jaguar Land Rover network.

Many faults on current vehicles are resolved by a software update, and many others cannot be diagnosed without one. We check for and apply the latest Jaguar Land Rover software, and carry out the calibrations that some repairs require.
What we diagnose and repair
Drivetrain faults
Gearboxes and transfer boxes, differentials, driveshafts, clutches and four-wheel-drive systems. Noises, vibrations and harshness are investigated methodically, so you only replace what is actually at fault.
Suspension
Air suspension, ride-height and levelling faults, dampers, springs, bushes, arms and bearings, plus the alignment work that should follow. Range Rover air suspension in particular is something owners come to us for.
Emissions, AdBlue and DPF
Where applicable, we diagnose and repair emissions system faults, including AdBlue and selective catalytic reduction, EGR, and diesel particulate filters. These systems are closely tied to software and driving conditions, so we look at the whole picture before quoting.
Mechanical repairs
Engines and timing chains, gearboxes and drivetrain, braking and steering, cooling systems and turbochargers, all handled in-house. From routine replacements through to major work, diagnosed properly and fixed once.
Technical repairs
The work that needs both mechanical and electronic understanding: module replacement and configuration, sensor and actuator faults, high-voltage systems on hybrid and electric models, and ADAS recalibration where a repair requires it.

Diagnostic investigation is carried out at a clear fixed price, confirmed before we start. Any repairs that follow are quoted separately and only go ahead with your approval.
Usually, yes. As an Official Jaguar Land Rover Authorised Service Centre we have the same diagnostic access as any JLR retailer, and we can often see your car much sooner. We can collect it if you cannot get to Sevenoaks.
Bring it to us. We start again from your car’s live data and Jaguar Land Rover’s procedures, and tell you what we actually find.
Yes, though intermittent faults sometimes need time or a second visit to catch. We will tell you what we can and cannot confirm, and agree how far to investigate before you commit.
